Our mission

Feeding therapy and speech-language therapy should be evidenced-based and child-centered. We help children become fearless feeders and confident communicators while empowering caregivers along the way. We believe in an evidence-based, individualized approach to support children in their journey to eat, talk, and learn with ease and joy.

Feeding evaluations, consultations and feeding therapy sessions will address concerns related to feeding and swallowing difficulties for newborns through school-aged children. Our services address a wide range of feeding issues ranging from breastfeeding difficulties to bottle refusal to selective eating. We apply a child-directed, multi-sensory, play-based approach to building feeding skills. Our goal is to make mealtimes fun and stress free for the entire family while helping your child meet his or her nutritional needs.

Evaluations and treatment sessions will address difficulties including speech and language delay, articulation errors, language processing, language comprehension, pre-literacy and phonemic awareness skills, language and reading comprehension, social skills and pragmatic language difficulties. We aim to determine your child’s underlying difficulties while building speech through play-based treatment sessions.

Our individualized services aim to teach both the child and the caregivers new skills - whether it be new mealtime routines, communication strategies to elicit speech, or ways to process what we read - we have found that speech, language and feeding abilities will not improve without support from the whole family. We work collaboratively with your child and your family, as well as any other educators or team members to help your child reach his or her goals.
